McGill Robotics Trip to Competition

McGill Robotics is an engineering design team of more than 150 students from the engineering, science, arts and management faculties at McGill University. Our team designs complex robots for international competitions, and is truly dedicated to foster an interest in robotics, science, and mathematics through collaboration, hard work and outreach.

This year, our team is competing in three international robotics competitions; the AUVSI 18th International RoboSub Competition  in San Diego, California, the Mars Society's University Rover Challenge in Hanksville, Utah and the European Rover Challenge  in Podzamcze, Poland. As first-time competitors at the 2014 RoboSub Competition, we ranked 10th place overall, 3rd in static judging and received the judges’ award for “Best Branding and Business Development". Building upon last year's success, everyone on the team is working extra hard towards achieving even greater results! 

The robots are nearly finished. However, flying out to the competition is by far our biggest cost, which is why we need your help to make this a reality! It would be a huge honor to once again represent McGill University and everyone that contributed to this project on an international scale.
