Cancer makes me angry.
It has taken friends from me, young and old. It attacks and suddenly a life is over and there is nothing we can do.
Right now, our dear friend Mary is battling cancer. Hers is more difficult than normal. She’s facing cancer of an unknown primary site.
That means they have no idea where the cancer started. Breast? No. Lung? No. Liver? Not knowing the site of origin blinds doctors in treating the cancer. Without that information, treatment becomes a shotgun approach and, most often, less effective.
