Mark Edwards Memorial Fund

On March 18th 2015, we received the devastating news that my father, Mark Edwards, was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer and that it had metastasized to his liver, skin and bones.  He began chemo the following Monday, and had 2 successive treatments each of the following days.   On Wednesday he was unable to breathe on his own and had to remain in the ICU for the next 2 weeks. He rallied and had some good days, but ultimately succumbed to the disease.  On April 6th 2015 at 4:40pm my beloved father passed away.  

It was an incredible shock to lose him so fast, and so young, as he was just 59 years old.  I am completely overwhelmed by grief, and the impending decisions I now face for my dad's final plans and wishes.  With no financing in place to cover any of these expenses, my greatest fear is the inability to honor his life in the way he deserves.  

Due to my circumstances, Hospice referred me to this site, which is why I am reaching out to any loved ones, friends and those caring enough to support me in my time of need.   Any help that you could give would mean more than words could ever express.
