Marine Family Robbed in VA Beach

Donation protected
On Saturday, June 2nd, a family in Virginia Beach lost over $2,500 in valuables after a home robbery took place in their apartment on Holland Road.

Out of town, the family was watching their oldest son graduate from boot camp in Parris Island. When they returned, ready to surprise him with a banner welcoming his return as a United States Marine, they instead found their back window open, sentimental jewelry and valuable electronics missing, and the sense that something just wasn't right.

As a close friend of the family, with their permission, I want to fund-raise to help them recuperate for the losses.  At the very least, funds to purchase a laptop would be greatly appreciated. Their youngest daughter, still in high school and enrolled in multiple Honors and A.P. classes, will need a laptop to complete her schoolwork throughout the summer, and the mother would need a home computer to assist with errands and general maintenance

With time, the family will recover emotionally, but as a single mother with a teen in care, anything to recover the lost goods would be extremely helpful. Thank you for your consideration.
