Help Families at House of Hope!

Dear Friends,

We reach out to you with a sense of urgency during October, which is National Domestic Violence Awareness month. Many of you have been faithful supporters of Mamma's Hands over the years. For some, this may be the first time that you're learning about our nonprofit organization. Whether a new friend or a long-time member of the Mamma's Hands' family we need your help. We ask you to join us in the fight-to let everyone know that we will not stand for violence against our mothers, our sisters, our daughters or our friends.

At the House of Hope, our program for mothers and children, over 80% of the families we serve have experienced violence. Children come to us scared and confused. Mothers come to us defeated and broken. As the only year-round family shelter in our community, families come to us as their last hope for rescue from homelessness due to domestic violence. They come to us as refugees from the ravages of war-torn and cartel-controlled countries, seeking a haven of refuge from a life of despair.  Families are severely impacted by violence and we see it's effects Every. Single. Day.

Would you please help us keep the hopes and dreams of these special families alive?

How can you help? You can give right now to our GoFundMe campaign. Every dollar counts and no gift is too small.  $5 buys minutes on a cell phone for important job interviews. $25 provides onsite childcare so mothers can work on permanent housing. $100 provides school supplies for the year for 10 families. You can also share this post (be sure to make it public), and ask your circle to share and contribute. You can reach out to us at [email redacted] to volunteer or to learn about special family sponsorship opportunities. You can help us end domestic violence!

We thank you for your support. We are grateful for your compassion. And we know that, together, we can make sure that no mother or child who wants to come to the House of Hope is turned away this cold winter.

With love and gratitude,

 Mamma's Hands
