Maisy Parvo Relief Fund

Thank you to my friends Kristin Gorenflo and Rick Wilson for encouraging me to do this and helping me start a go fund me account, as I would not have thought to do this on my own.

As many of you may have heard that my ex-husband Helder Menezes recently passed away on Septemeber 24th, 2014 from acute myeloid leukemia, which he had been fighting for the last 3 years.

Before he passed he left my daughter with a maltese puppy named Maisy.

We have grown very attached to Maisy, who recently came down with Parvo (it spread through our apartment complex). Parvo is a virus that can be deadly in dogs and Maisy has become very sick and is currently in the hospital.

The treatment at an emergency care Vetrinary clinic  is going to cost between $2,500 -$4,000 for her care.  

I've already committed to the treatment (and the good news is Maisy appears to be recovering!) but with all that's happened this year this is a giant stress on my family.

I've decided to start this GoFundMe campaign to see if I can offset any of these unexpected expenses for Maisy's treatment. Even $5 helps and I deeply appreciate you taking the time to read this and consider my cause.
