help purchase safe car for baby

Please help us get a safe vehicle to drive our baby around in. Our van's transmission went out three days after buying it. Since then it has been in and out of the shop as it breaks down constantly. It now has no ABS anymore and has trouble going into gear. There are too many problems to list and we keep discovering even more. We cannot afford to fix it, and it is the only vehicle we have to get our child to doctor appointments and us to work.
