My name is Cham and I am a 4th year medical student at The Commonwealth Medical College in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Early on in my medical training, I saw an enormous need for education and advocacy on behalf of the transgender patient population. Our transgender brothers and sisters deserve better treatment than they are currently receiving by many (but not all) physicians, nurses and support staff. Im hoping that targeted education in medical school may help to move things in the right direction.
I'm excited to be organizing my 3rd Annual Transgender Medicine Conference, but I really need your help. This year the conference will be an all day event and I am hoping to raise enough funds to cover speaker fees and a "meet and greet" lunch. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
