In 2009, convinced that we needed to think deeply and critically about the role technology plays in our lives, I began work on a PhD program that would prepare me to do just that.
After nearly six years, the end is in sight. I'm ABD: all but dissertation. No small thing that last piece, of course. Aside from the time needed to research and write, my greatest need, not surprisingly, is funding.
I've been plugging away on my degree without the benefit of scholarships or grants. I've worked throughout my time in grad school as a high school teacher and college adjunct, doing my best to pay out of pocket. But I'm going to need some help for this last stretch.
In-state tuition for graduate students at UCF amounts to a bit over $300 per credit after fees are tagged on. I've got two summer credits and two fall credits to pay for. That accounts for the $1200 goal. I'll have seven more credits to go in 2016, but I'm taking it one year at a time.
Any help you could offer toward that goal would be deeply appreciated. Thanks for considering!
