Friends and family have ask what they can do to help Jr so we decided to set this page up for them. We have connected it to Tracy's Facebook page so she can receive updates. Thank you for helping this amazing family.
On Saturday February 7th 2014 Jr went to Pikeville Medical Hospital for a MRI because his shoulder has been hurting. They found tumors on his spine but knew that was not the primary location.
He couldn't be released because one tumor was pressing on his spinal cord and if he got hit he could become paralyzed. They sent him to UK medical center By Ambulance where they found the primary location was in the right kidney .
He has 4 Tumors on his spine, one tumor laying on collar bone that is extremely painful, and his right kidney has Renal Cell Carcinoma and is the primary source.
He will start radiation for 5 days and have a biopsy on Tuesday February 10th after the biopsy they will decide if he will have kidney surgery to remove his right kidney or if he will have Chemo treatments.
If he was to stay at Pikeville Medical insurance pays 100% but once they transferred him (because they couldn't address the tumors on the spine)to UK, now the insurance will only pay 70/30 plus deductibles.
