Karlie's Summer Dance Program

Karlie’s Summer Dance Program and College Expense Fund.

I am Karlie Stoddard, from North Liberty, Iowa.  I have opened a GO FUND ME page with faith that I will be able to spend part of my summer furthering my dance education in Los Angeles and raising money to help with my college expenses from the kindness of others.

As a lot of friends and family know I am an out of state student attending Arizona State University. I am a freshman studying dance at Herberger Institute  to receive my BFA with a minor in business. Being a full time college student in the dance major program does not leave much time for other activities, as the life of a dancer is often challenging and is more than just a course of study.  I spend most of my time in the studio working after hours and attending evening rehearsals for upcoming events. My summers are spent furthering my skills and technique by taking master classes with professionals, attending summer dance programs to gain different perspectives and experiences.

Dance is my passion and with my dance education I hope to dance as a professional in a company and someday work within the dance community and give back to others.

All of this comes at a price and my mom sacrifices her own needs to support me and take care of my living expenses and that leaves very little for her personally to live on. Because of her love and support I get to pursue my dreams.

 Please help me fund my summer dance school and any funds left over will be used towards my education at Arizona State University.
