Peanut aka LilRed FHO Surgery

This is 8 month old miniature pinscher (min-pin) puppy named Peanut aka LilRed who is currently with our rescue service IMPS –Internet Miniature Pinscher Service. Peanut is described by her foster family as being the "sweetest and cutest" addition to their home. She is a great companion ready for her forever family.
Unfortunately, after noticing Peanut walking with a limp and an uneven gait, it was learned she was born with a defect that is affecting her left femoral head in her hip. This birth defect is quite painful for her and will only get worse as she gets older, so to help she is currently on anti-inflammatory medicine.
After X-Rays and Veterinarian consults it was decided Peanut needs a Femoral Head Osteotomy. The FHO is the best surgery for a dog of her age and her size. As you might imagine, a procedure of this type is costly and beyond the resources of our rescue group.
IMPS New England is caring for this loving girl and seeking donations to proceed with this urgent surgery so she can have a fighting chance to keep her leg and not have it amputated.
