Ryan Wheelchair Joystick Fund!

Hello my name is Ryan Worth I suffer from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy which is a muscular deteriorating condition which means that I am completely electric wheelchair-bound. It's a life limiting disease, I am now unable to leave my house safely independently I have to have help driving my wheelchair. As I have very limited movement and strength the control I have now is just useless making me feel hopeless I am literally unable to do any social visit go to the cinema go out to eat anything independently because I cannot drive it is very emotional for me as my disease is life limiting I want to live every day to the full and to create memories with my family such as going to concerts and events.
The dangerous part is having a ramp in my van and I have to reverse down it without full control I've nearly came off the ramp twice in the past month. The ramp isn't very safe I'll show you a picture.
As you can see it's steep and falling could cause serious injury.

I have contacted NHS Wheelchair services and they are unable to help me they say they cannot fit a private chair with any private equipment which is ridiculous and I'm completely stumped at what to do now. I've contacted them again telling them that they will have to provide me with a whole new wheelchair or the controller to which they said they cannot do that and I will be on a waiting list for the new wheelchair for at least two months probably longer, I am unable to wait this long.
I really hate having to do this to ask for people's kindness in helping me, it's really upsetting to me I feel lost I have no idea why the joystick has to be so much money I feel like because I have to have this equipment or be bed ridden they charge the highest amount it's wrong just damn wrong. I will be showing the reciept for the joystick. I am also applying to a charity for the additional funds as it will cost £1500 but I can only get £500 off them, which isn't confirmed as of yet (17/02/15). Any help you can provide I will be extremely grateful there's no way I can repay you, As ultimately it is your decision I feel really upset asking like I have said before, I'm not very good at typing things like this it feels like I am begging for help so this is all I will write I'm extremely grateful for you just reading don't even have to contribute I would be extremely grateful if you could share this with others thank you so much.

The next piece of equipment I aspire to have is the iPortal which is in my opinion equally as valuable as it will allow me to use a mobile device which I haven't been able to do for 5 years, but not only that it's future proof as the further my condition progresses it'll make me unable to use a PC but with iPortal I can use my PC with my wheelchair controller and also control my TV and Sky as a remote as I simply can't at the moment these are things people take for granted, but would mean so much.

Finally got the quote for iPortal and it's less than I thought at £679.

We are currently around £693 from the target, as some charities have helped I can't edit the number so I'll just change my goal.
