Lyric Band 2018-19 Concert Series

The Lyric Band of Hanover provides free music performances for the greater Hanover, PA community. The band sponsors a Summer Concert Series, with performances on Sunday evenings at the Codorus State Park Bandshell from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend. When the Lyric Band is not performing, they give several guest music groups from the area the opportunity to perform at the park.

Additionally, the band puts on three formal concerts in the Fall, Winter, and Spring. They also donate their musical services to the Hanover community by participating in the Memorial Day ceremony and the POW-MIA ceremony in September. 

All of this takes money, and the band has done this without any grants or government funds. The Concert Series is completely supported by contributions from Patrons and sponsors of ads in our Program book.  The cost of putting together these performances is a challenge, and your financial support would help keep live music performance alive in the Hanover community. The Lyric Band is an 85-year tradition, and we would be very appreciative of your support of the arts!
