Marine Veteran in Need - Bring the Fight to Pancreatic Cancer
Lynn Quigley is a 60 year old truck driver and marine corps veteran who lives with his family in Pleasant Grove, UT, which is about an hour south of Salt Lake City. On March 27th, 2015, Lynn and his family received the tragic news that Lynn has stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
The news was a devastating shock to the Quigley family. Not only is Lynn only 60 years old but he has also been a beacon of healthy living his entire life.
Since being diagnosed, Lynn and the Quigleys have faced the terrible reality that their father and head of the family has terminal cancer that cannot be operated upon.
Lynn’s prognosis is not good but, being true to his fighting marine spirit, he has decided to aggressively combat his cancer.
Lynn and the Quigley family need your help for this fight.

More About Lynn Quigley
Lynn is as All-American as they get, which means that family is his foundation. Lynn will be survived by our Mom Trudy Brereton-Quigley, 5 children, his foster niece whom he raised as his own, 13 grandchildren, both his parents and parents in-law, and a whopping 15 siblings! Beyond family, it wouldn’t take you long after talking to Lynn’s neighbors and friends that there are many people who hold him dear.

He’s an inspiring man of faith to his church. He’s a true patriot and proud of the country he has served. His work ethic as a Trucker reflects the values he believes and has been a lifelong example to his family. Anyone scrolling through his Facebook page would know what this man’s passions are immediately: family, friends, his country, military service, gun slinging, trucks, cars, and good music!
Most of us have lasting memories of Lynn, and always of him on his feet—building cars, landscaping his yard to unyielding perfection, gardening and trench digging, boating and fishing, and being the very representation of service to others. There are COUNTLESS accounts we’ve heard of Lynn helping his neighbors in need for car repairs, free of charge; lending out his enviable collection of tools; covering for his co-workers; doing taxes for family and friends; taking family members into his home, without a second thought; and blessing the lives of all those he loves. Many more stories and accounts of Lynn’s compassion are only being learned recently! This man has a heart of GOLD! He’s got the nurses and hospital staff whipped by his fun humor and silliness. It has been truly remarkable to see the support and love that has come to this deserving man. So many prayers, thoughts, visits, and support has sustained him through the overwhelming emotions of shock, sadness, fear, and pain… all of which are equated with love, support, kindness, and beauty because of the love shown for Lynn and his family.
Being Diagnosed
For the past year Lynn has experienced heart and stomach complications which have brought him to the ER 4 times… although multiple tests were done, there was never a CT-Scan of his abdomen until this last (5th) ER visit. They reported that the cancer was spread extensively throughout the pancreas and metastasized to his liver... none of it is operable. Lynn’s decision to fight was unsurprising to the people who know him. If you know Lynn, then you know what we mean! The money raised for Lynn’s campaign will go to the costs of this battle, and after.
We love an appreciate you all. Our commitment is to keep you all updated through this time. You’ll see pictures, posts to Facebook, and our expressed gratitude for anything, anyone, can do. Everything thought, prayer, and donation means so much! Please SHARE!
Thank you, all!
