Luke Chaproniere Blood on the Brain

Our Friend Luke has been in hospital... 
He's got Blood on the Brain. 
They think he will be OK and he's been discharged but he isn't well and can't work. So with Beth about to drop a mini Luke (Baby due April 1st) I wanted to set something up so his friends can help reduce their potential stress. 

More Info: Luke was very wobbly when I saw him on Friday (walking like Tim Renkow). From what I understand they have diagnosed a weak blood vessel in his noggin that has bled into his brain. It has effected his balance and taste. He's also tired and nauseous. He's had it all his life and it's just showing symptoms now (although he had an episode as a kid which looking back could have been a previous bleed). It has now stopped and he should slowly recover over the next 3 to 4 weeks.
The chance of it bleeding again are lowish and they dont think it is worth the risk of operating. If he gets the symptoms again he will know what it is and can go straight into the hospital. But he currently cant work which is a financial stretch for him and Beth pre baby.

My first thought was to do a benefit gig but I wouldn't know where to start setting one up without Luke's help so lets show them both some kindness and appreciation now and do a gig when he is better and can enjoy it (as well as doing all the hard work and twiddling the nobs).

NB. Luke & Beth know we are doing this but haven't asked for it at all. 
 
If you have ever had luke do your sound at a gig. If you have ever been to a Weirdos or Heroes show or if you have ever hung out with Like im sure you will want to bung something in this virtual hat. 

You can also drop Luke a line and maybe visit. (they are in Leyton now) take him some grapes, maybe a nice new hat but probably don't bother wthe the rollerskates just yet.
