Settecase Family - Lukas' Fund

Donation protected
The Settecase family's youngest son Lukas was diagnosed with leukemia in the summer of 2015, just before he turned 1.  After a couple years of treatments, Lukas completed what they thought to be his last round of chemotherapy treatments.  He walked through Lurie Children’s Hospital & rang the bell to signify this momentous day.  Within a couple months, the family's worst fears came true - Lukas relapsed & the leukemia returned.  While his prognosis is better now than it was when he was first diagnosed, at the age of 3, he will need to undergo very difficult chemotherapy treatments again.

As the family looked on to the future following Lukas’ treatment, they purchased a 1920s bungelo to fix up & make their own. This dream was quickly put on hold. Just before they discovered Lukas relapsed, they started uncovering numerous problems with their new home. In fact, after their most recent inspection, they found out the home was not considered safe for the family & is especially not safe for Lukas since he is at high risk. Now, in addition to the expense of medical treatments, they are in desperate need of getting their home repaired so the family can safely move back home.

As a young family with 4 children, any support would be greatly appreciated.

The family remains positive and is trusting God to carry them through this difficult time. Please keep Joel, Aliza & their family in your prayers #PrayForLukas
