Thank you all for donating your time and resources to Love Rocks’ causes over the years. We are excited to present our newest project to you and confident in your continuous support!
Love rocks has partnered with Worldreader Organization (a not-for-profit organization whose goal is to reduce the illiteracy rate) to bring 50 e-readers (kindle 4 ) to the Junior High School students of Dordiak Educational Complex in Adukrom-Akuapem, which is in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
There will be 100 books on each e-reader, and all these books will be available to 200 students. This is a great resource in promoting our cause of helping these students cultivate the habit of reading and having access to a wealth of knowledge.
We need you to help us raise $1,500 for the logistics involved in bringing the e-readers to the students, including the building of a safe and secure charging station for the e-readers and the cost involved in training a project manager.
