Brain Surgery for Karin
My mom had a ruptured brain aneurysm and is being taken to Kansas City to have brain surgery. Taking her there alone is 34,000. Not to mention all the other costs for staying in the hospital for 3-4 weeks on top of the cost for surgery. Surgery alone can be 50,000 - 150,000. She is worried about how my family will pay for it since she does not have health insurance to cover anything. It's so heart wrenching to see her cry because she thinks she is a burden over money. I love her more than anything, and all I can think about is how tragic it would be for my newborn daughter, to grow up not knowing the sweet, beautiful and caring person my mother is. Please anyone that is dear to my mom or would just like to help us out, so that my daughter can grow up knowing her grandmother, any amount at all would be a blessing.
