Emma's journey ahead.

Emma is a beautiful two year old little girl that has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and is also deaf. She will be making numerous trips to Louisville, KY from Owensboro, KY for surgeries, follow ups, and doctor's appointments. Recently Emma was seen by a surgeon in Louisville, KY for some health issues. She will be traveling to Kosair Children's Hospital this upcoming week for testing that will show the surgeon which procedures she will need. She will definitely be having a g-tube placed in her stomach for feeding and nutrition issues. Also, she will be admitted to Kosair Children's Hospital on April 1, 2014 for observation and a study of her seizure activity.  At this time her seizures are not under control and she is considered failure to thrive. Emma has already had a cochlear implant placed in her head and wears a hearing aid. Recently, she has been evaluated and her mom was informed that she will be needing a hip replacement surgery in the near future. Emma uses an IPad in her therapies for learning and communication. We are hoping to get her one of her own since the IPad belongs to her therapist. There are several other things that Emma needs. All prayers and donations are greatly appreciated.
