 I have been rescuing and caring for rats that would otherwise go unwanted for over twenty years. Sadly, when one of these sweet, intelligent creatures doesn't get adopted from an animal shelter within a certain amount of time, they usually end up getting euthanized. I also rescue rats that are designated as snake food before they are even born. I know a few rats living a great life instead of dying a horrible death isn't going to change the world, but it sure does change the world for the rats in question. My goal is to continue giving these splendid, loving little animals the second chance they deserve to enjoy a loving home and the best of all things. With your support, we can get more habitats to house more rats as well as continue to ensure that all the animals here get only the best of everything including but not limited to: - Comprehensive medical assessment of all new rescues - Regular veterinary checkups and care at one of the best vet clinics in the state. - Laboratory formulated nutritionally solid base kibble, fresh fruits and veggies, special treats and just about anything else a rat would like to eat - High quality, extra large habitats with games, toys & activities as well as all the usual creature comforts and hammocks. The goal is to give them more activity options than just sleeping, eating and pooping - All the free roaming playtime, love, attention and affection they could ever want - Field trips to local attractions and points of interest for the ratties - And so much more!
