Art Programs for Uganda Orphans

We are hoping to create a virtual Hollywood for some of the least privileged of the world.
People are tired of being guilted into giving, we know that disease and famine ravage the earth. We all push that into the back of our minds and get on with life. For the people who are born into the harshest conditions in Uganda it can be harder to do the same. There are not a million media options like we have here in the US, in fact most people dont have a computer or internet. There arent job options other than low paid tedious work if one is lucky enough to find that. Most orphans end up homeless, and dead from disease by age 17. Family suicide is common.
Our family has funded many clinics with the help of Hank Pellissier as the main organizer and facilitator, and thousands of orphans are fed and given medical care thanks to he and his donors. I am his nephew, Eric.
We have been working with one great ray of hope among many, Kasese Humanist Primary School run by Mr. Bwambale Roberts. We have funded 2 fine arts teachers to teach theatre, music, and art to all interested parties. He has set 2 of the largest rooms aside, fixed them up, and classes start this week. Also provided is a nice HD video camera, a full drumset and digital piano. Without public donations these programs will continue for a year with private donors, giving these kids an escape from some harsh realities of life. But the vision is much larger than these programs.
We want to build more centers where art, music, and theatre can be taught for free to whoever is interested. We want creativity centers to be a place where people make money for their community with their minds.
The ultimate goal is to create a website where all of the art, music, and films will be uploaded. Everyone around the world will be able to see it for free, and there will be options for donating. People are more likely to give if they can choose their favorite artist and give to projects in that communiy. The untapped talent of communities will be given an opportunity to be seen, and even rewarded.
To people who live without electricity or food, the idea of becoming a star on the internet equates to the US dream of being a movie star.
We need money to pay a good web designer to build the website. That is the main purpose of this ad. Content is already being created in Uganda with no platform to be seen.
With more funding we could expand the programs, build in more locations, and even provide medical services and food at all new locations.
