Expanding Poetry

My name is Lizzy Fox. I'm a poet and educator, and I'm finishing up my MFA in Writing at the Vermont College of Fine Arts.  In addition to my studies, I hold down a day job in education while teaching creative writing and public speaking on the side. I've also spent many years benefiting from and learning about the practice of life coaching. 

In August, I attended a training at the Academy for Coaching Excellence (ACE) in Sacramento, California. During the training, it became undeniably clear that I want to offer poetry readings and arts workshops on a bigger scale. Moreover, I'm interested in how I can connect what I already teach with life coaching's ontological tools aimed at supporting participants to see and express themselves more clearly. 

Right now, more than ever, we need to tap into our  creativity and expand our vision of what this world can become. I'm making writing, teaching arts, and empowerment my full-time business in order to support others to live their most full and creative lives. I've signed up for 6 months of continued coaching with ACE to support me through my business' launch-phase and to provide me with the skillset I need to uplift others in my work. 

I'm raising $4,560 for tuition and travel expenses and will be paying tuition in installments. Together, we've already achieved my first benchmark of $1,000 by November 5th. Thank you!  

My next goal is to get to $2,500 by December 9th.
