Reach One, Teach One

SimonCuisine, a veteran owned catering company, was founded in 2016 by Kenjuan Simon and Sheneka Lucenio as a full-service catering company in Maryland. Since our founding, we have exceeded the expectations of our clients, delivering delicious food and stellar service in the Washington-Metropolitan area (WMA).

Our Executive Chef, Kenjuan 'Juan' Simon, is extremely talented in the culinary field and is considered a young, up and coming star in this industry.  He is known for his unique flavor parrings and his unusal sense of taste and textures.  He is the sole candy distributor and lead chef for Hungry and is currently being recognized by top chefs at the MGM National Harbor.

For all that know Chef Juan, for as much as he loves to create unforgetable dishes, he loves to give back even more.

From the kitchen to the community ...

Providing catering services is “what" SimonCuisine does; but giving back to the families in our community is “who" we are. We have a strong desire and passion to teach families how to explore the many tastes and textures all food has to offer and how to think outside of the box when cooking. We feel the need to educate families on better more cost effective ways to feed and nourish themselves and their families.

Chef Juan has accepted the task of teaching his community better ways to live and enjoy life, through food.  Our commitment to reach one family and teach one family will be done through our culinary workshops and education classes. In these classes, we will share simple recipes with participants, offer them one-on-one culinary training and consulting.
