Lisa's Eats Detroit Nonprofit

Hi I'm Lisa. I have a lot of dreams. #1 is to help people. I am planning on running for mayor of Detroit 2017. I'm pursuing nonprofit community owned gardens, with storefronts business venture opportunities and cooking classes, in each neighborhood, free housing for the homeless and other Detroiters rehabbing homes throughout the city, a better education system for all generations, and various activities, sports-music-art-dance, for all generations that will require the talents of Detroiters to fulfill jobs. The garden and restraunt will be set in place for people of all ages to learn to grow, maintain, and cook their own food. I focus on growing grain for flours, fruiting trees, all types of vegetables, in greenhouses. Along with sourcing farm raised meat. The City is the People and I want to be their voice and help their dreams become a reality. I want to help my community thrive by working with the people that reside here currently. I  believe I was born on Stolen Land, from genocide of Indigenous People, I want to work with Tribes to reform law. I hate to ask for your help, but Thank You for any interest.
Something about me: I grew up at 17196 Caldwell and 17227 Syracuse in Detroit. I attended catholic grade school in Detroit and high school in Hamtramck. I earned 65+ credits in Human Service at Baker College. I currently reside in West Detroit.
