We need your help to get this new project "on the road"!
Beginning this summer, we will take our tour bus, a 38’ long Winnebago and mobile museum to schools, communities and venues across Long Island in order to fulfill our mission: to celebrate, recognize and preserve the exceptional music history of the Long Island region for this generation and many generations to come.
Inside the “Tour Bus” will be exhibits, archives, collections and educational programs that will showcase the lives and careers of our inductees and take visitors on an exciting journey through the music history of Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau and Suffolk.
Most importantly, the tour bus will be used as an educational tool, readily available to visit over 100 school districts across Long Island, including low to moderate income areas which may not have the means to travel to an actual museum.
On behalf of the Long Island Music Hall of Fame, thank you for your contribution to Long Island’s rich music history and we look forward to partnering with you on this exciting project.
