Hi guys,
My name is Tomás Whelan and Lily Rose Kenny is my cousin. She is 7 months old and this fundraiser is for her.
The day after Lily Rose was born her Mam sadly passed away in a car accident. She was born in Clonmel hospital Co. Tipperary but was immeadiatly brought to Temple St. hospital after her birth due to some complications.
The following day her Mam, Nicola began to make her way to Temple St. hospital to see her new born baby and that's when the tragic accident happened. Nicola's Mam and auntie were both injured in the accident.
Lily Rose is now in the full time care of her grandparents Ann and Paddy who are both struggling since the loss of their daughter. Ann is still nursing injuries from the accident and Lily Rose who is getting older requires a lot of attention as you can imagine any young baby does.
I have put put together a team to take part in a Hell and Back 12km adventure race. Our team is aiming to raise money for Lily Rose and her family via sponsorship cards. We currently have 26 people on our team. The support has been great.
Any funds raisd from this page and from the sponsorships cards will go directly to this family in need. To help raise Lily Rose and give her grandparents some extra help that is needed.
