Lil' Lentils Playgroup & Performance Series brings family-friendly fun to outer SE Portland, OR through free play, developmental activities, and kid-approved performers.
The playgroup is powered by donations and volunteer power. Money goes directly to performers, crafts and interactive activities like storytelling, facepainting, and cookie decorating.
Outer SE Portland is home to economically diverse communities and our model uses a low suggested donation at events to keep Lil Lentils welcoming when money is tight. Outside donations and grants help power the rest of our programming.
Performers include: The Alphabeticians, Mo Phillips, Tallulah's Daddy, Nikki Brown-Clown, Red Yarn, Chata Addy, Micah and Me, Garden Goat, Mr. Hoo and more!
This season, we have a very exciting partnership with Zoiglhaus Brewing Company in the Lents Town Center. "Zhaus" is providing a great, family-friendly space and has added a new breakfast menu at affordable price points especially for Lil Lentils participants.
With support from PGE's employee volunteer grant program, we have launched the 2016 season but we need your help to keep things running. Thank you for spreading the word, showing up at events, and to our tireless volunteers who are back for a second season!!
