Mr. R's 30 days of 5ks for Liberton Lightning!
Donation protected
Liberton Lightning is Liberton Primary girls' after-school football club.
Started in 2015, with 6 players training each week, we now usually have over 60 players at our weekly training sessions.
Our P2-3 and P4-5 teams won the last Sciennes Spring Tournament trophies, and we are the current Inch Park Trophy champions.
Lockdown has meant that our training had to stop for a while, but it is starting to get going again!
Mr. Robertson is running 5k in every day of June to raise money for sports equipment to improve our training sessions. The aim of our club is to give our girls a positive introduction to football through high quality training, helping them to develop their skills, teamwork and a lifelong love of football.
Please support Liberton Lightning (and help Mr. R. drag his aching limbs for 5k each day) by donating!
