LGBTQI US United Prisoner Org

LGBTQI offenders at Woodbourne Correctional Facility in NY state are seeking your honorable help in financing a small non-profit organization within the facitily called LGBTQI US United. We are a prisoner-run group who aim to provide services to LGBTQI incarcerated people such as drug and sexual abuse education, re-entry preparation, and community events.

Your contribution will help us get our group started. We need this small sum to cover the start up costs of supplies including a computer and printer, a coffee pot, a small color television, office supplies, and food for a banquet celebrating our founding.





Our sponsor on the outside, Tristan Wright, is a long-standing organizer in the LGBTQ community and a strong supporter of our cause. We hope you will join him in helping us to build community on the inside. LGBTQI people behind the wall face challenges daily, including harassment, bullying, abuse, and assault. By working together we can help to address these issues, and improve the connection between LGBTQI people on the inside and our brothers and sisters on the outside.
