Thanh to Guatemala

I will be going to Guatemala this summer from August 1st to the 30th. During my stay, I will have the opportunity to work with America Latina, an organization that focuses on education, health care, and community outreach in Guatemala.  I will be experiencing the Guatemalan culture by participating in home stays. I pray that this opportunity will enhance my knowledge on the different cultures outside of the United States. Nonetheless, if there were anything I can take back with me, it would be the relationships I will gain with the people in Guatemala. 

I believe this experience will be powerful and I hope you can play a part in this trip with me. I feel anyone can play a great part in my journey to Guatemala. You can support me in two ways: 1) prayer (or keep me in your thoughts if you do not believe in prayer) and 2) by supporting me financially. Please pray that we would have open hearts and minds that will allow us to learn as much as possible from the people we come in contact with and that we would see the ways that God is already present and working in Guatemala.
