All aboard the Mayflower Express!

Plymouth Land Trains has been working away for many years to bring this project to life.

Graham Pearce who has been pursuing this cause for many years has finally seen his vision realised. With support from local people he has setup Plymouth Land Trains. Now families from the City and tourists alike can hop on and off the Land Train to see the sites.

WE WANT TO LAUNCH THIS MONTH BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP!

The Land Train will be an amazing addition to Plymouth City Centre giving visitors a great way to see the City and its landmarks as well as a fun trip for young children.

The Land Train has been purchased with the support from local businesses and individuals, but we now need to quickly organise all the ancillary items to run a full service. This GoFundMe is setup by Plymouth Land Trains to help you play a part in this amazing project.

Getting a Land Train on the road can be expensive as there are lots of hoops to jumped through. All the big hurdles have been overcome and Land Train can ride on the road safely.

We have the insurance, we have the licenses, we even have approval on the route from the City Council. We just need a little bit of help from the people of Plymouth.

We can't get the Land Train on the road without you! So if we can raise our target quickly YOU can ride the Land Train this Easter!

If you are able to support this new project for the City, we have a great rewards package:

Donate £20 and get a free ride for four on the Land Train during its Maiden Voyage Month.

Donate £50 and get 2 season tickets for unlimited use for a year and two meals at Bar Burritos.

Donate £100 and get four season tickets for unlimited use for a year and Afternoon tea for two at the Treasury.

Donate £350 and get four season tickets for unlimited use for a year and exclusive hire of the train on the route for an hour.

Donate £500 and get a plaque on the train and four season tickets for unlimited use for a year and exclusive hire of the train on the route for an hour.

We have lots of expensive items to still finish, which include the publishing of the route, the audio commentary system, timetables, ticket system and most importantly some modifications to the Land Train to accomodate disabled riders wheelchairs.

All donations received will support Plymouth Land Trains get the Mayflower Express rolling. You can see all the news stories about the Land Train on the Plymouth Herald website here:
