Praxis Malawi 2015

Last year many of my friends gave generously towards the distribution of family health/first aid kits as part of the participatory project, Transformative Praxis: Malawi.
In June 2015, I will return to Kasungu, Malawi where I will join Canadian and Malawian colleagues in continuing our work there. Malawi is one of the world's poorest countries with significantly worse health outcomes to those in the West. As Co-Director of Transformative Praxis and its Co-Ordinator for Health, I have been working with local community in setting up a pumped well on the community campus which will provide clean water for local people in the wider Chilanga region. Money collected has been send for this work which will begin on the week of 27th April 2015.
Our health and education work will continue if you would like to support us.
Please note that we self-fund our travel, bed/board and that any funds that are donated go entirely to the project for which they are intended.
