Thank you for reading my page. I had an idea tonight after hearing of a friend who had a plight.
Her power driven wheelchair had broken and repair is going to cost her £350 pounds.(I have since learned said chair is condemned..a second hand one will cost £700-1000 She was applying for a grant and I thought I have never met her, but my time on twitter has shown me she is a wonderful popular person.
I have MS too and I understand that there is no extra cash to spare for breakdowns and emergencies. and I couldn't imagine losing the freedom of a power chair when I need one)
I was then reminded of the film Pay It Forward where a simple act of kindness can change a persons life.
So I came up with this idea, I really wanted to help Margo, She would never ask for help as she is like many of us proud, but I cant afford lots and nor would I lend to a stranger. However I can afford £5.. but then if all the people who have grown to know Margo felt the same then Just £4 x40 makes a huge difference, you never know it might pay the whole amount. It might not.. But at least I had a part in helping.
I would love it if you could show your generosity we are all so sad and scared about recent government cruelty on us a little bit of kindness goes a long way.
So please please donate what ever you can afford to help a fellow spoonie in need.
I promise to Give ALL funds to Margo that you donate should it exceed the limit so she can enjoy. (I'm Hopeful)
