ABOUT ME

Born in Boise Idaho to Joan Schneider a school teacher and Paul J. Schneider a radio and television personality I spent my early years with interest in sports and drama. Once I graduated high school I joined Jack Davis Premiere Shows a circus and performing arts troop traveling for several years all over the United States doing pole climbing, hoop diving, juggling, hypnotism, sword fighting and other arena and outdoor entertainment.

It was during this time that my mentor and friend Jack Davis would teach me how to promote and produce outdoor events. From 1991 to 2005 I would hone these skills and perform in over 400 shows across the country.

Since 2005 I have endeavored to learn more about the craft of film making working on over 30 projects including over a dozen feature films. In 2011 I formed MaSch productions with Abel Martinez Jr. and WJD Films with my close friends from Jack Davis premiere shows and JADA Entertainment.

ABOUT STELLA TEACH

Hello everyone! We are a small, multinational group of ESL educators with a BIG dream. Over the course
of our time teaching English in China, it has become evident that the very few educational programs for
kids that play on television here are completely underwhelming and lacking in the kind of content
needed to truly spark a child’s creativity. We want to change that, and we also want to create a cultural
bridge by involving American kids in the production process once we have been picked up by a station!
Our goal is to create a new educational TV show that could be considered the “Sesame Street of China”.
It will draw on the best elements of shows like Sesame Street, Reading Rainbow, and Dora the Explorer,
but with a distinctly Chinese twist!
So far, we have completed most of the preliminary work for our pilot episode, including the storyboard,
concept sketches, and most of the script. We even have a local television station, Phoenix TV, in
Shenzhen that has expressed a lot of interest in our show! The only thing that we are lacking right now is
an experienced, professional director. Jeff Schneider is a personal friend of one of our founders Andrew
Aker, and an amazingly talented director and 3D animator, with several indie movies already under his
belt. Jeff believes in and has already helped start building our vision. He has graciously agreed to take
time out of his busy schedule in January to come to Shenzhen for a week and direct our pilot episode.
This is a labor of love for us, and until we have a pilot to show the local station we are operating with
virtually no budget, doing all the work in our spare time after our day jobs teaching English. We are
humbly asking for help from you, our families, friends, colleagues, acquaintances and generous
strangers who believe in our vision to help bring Jeff to us so we may film our pilot episode, get funding
from the television station, and take the first big step in making our kids show a reality!

Thank you so much for your time and generosity!
