Help rebuild our church!

Donation protected
On the night of January 26th, a young man walked up to Bolton United Methodist Church, broke in and set it on fire. Luckily, the Parsons family lives right next door and their dog had to go outside.  EJ Parsons saw the suspect fleeing from the scene and the smoke pooring out the window.  Within minuets EJ was able to get inside and get a few bursts out of the fire estinguisher before running outside to get fresh air.  His father, Ed Parsons (caretaker of the church) was able to run through to the other side to get the other doors open.  Once the fire department arrived they were able to see that the fire had been mostly estinguished.  Fourtunatley, only 2 rooms were completley destroyed while the others just have some smoke damage.  Both Ed and EJ were treated for smoke inhailation.  Ed was later taken to the hospital for chest pain where he remained for 2 nights.  The suspect was found and a written confession was given.  The church hopes this boy finds the help he needs.

Our congrigation may be small but we are mighty! We will survive this horrible event but we are reaching out to our community to ask for help! We are currently faced with finding the money to pay our insurance deductable of $1000.  In addition, the church's snow plow blew its transmission the very next day. The expected cost to repair it is around $600.  Please help us rebuild the church and fix the snow plow. No donation is too small!

Thank you and God Bless!
