Food For the Hungry Olivero Trip
This spring break Jen and I have decided to join a service team on a trip to Olivero in the Dominican Republic! Olivero is a small rural community about 10 miles from the Haitian border in the Dominican Republic. With an organization called Food For the Hungry (fh.org), our service team will seek to work alongside the people of Olivero as we conduct physical projects to better the community. In addition to that, our team will conduct home visits within the neighborhood, as well as running Vacation Bible School for the children and teens within the community. Our ministry is based on building relationships, and I personally cannot wait to see how the young studs flexing in the picture above have grown since we took the photo above almost four years ago!
As Christ has abundantly loved and served us, Jen and I are are super excited about the opportunity to love and serve the people of Olivero this coming spring break.
