W7DXX Amplifier Fund

It is time to replace our amplifier for W7DXX. Our trusted Alpha 87A is needing too much maintenance. But then, it has been operating 24/7 at 1500 watts for years.
The plan is to replace the 87A with a solid-state 2KFA, giving us 1500 watts on 160-6 meters.
Other reasons for choosing the 2KFA is that has a built in antenna tuner and coax switch, which would preclude the need for our current Palstar antenna tuner and that pesky coax switch at the top of the tower. Less compontents = less maintenance.
Factored in the cost estimate is some coax and tower crew expense.
