Heather's mission trip to Thailand

Hi, My name is Heather Womble.  I am raising funds to get to Chiang Mai, Thailand in September to volunteer for 2 weeks at an Elephant Rescue & Rehabilitation Center.  This center known as Elephant Nature Park was founded by an extraordinary woman named Lek Chailert.

I have been searching for years now for the perfect place to donate my time to help make a difference.  Recently I came across this wonderful place and instantly fell in love!  I just knew I had to be apart of it.

ENR provides sanctuary for disabled, blind, and orphaned elephants that have often been abused as working animals & for street begging.  Lek has found a way to have them retired & the ability to live out the rest of their lives with dignity & happiness.

Her mission is not only to provide a sanctuary for the endangered species but also Rain Forest Restoration, Cultural Preservation & Visitor Education.

The entire project is run by the contributions & volunteers who donate their time & money.

Please help me be an extension of your goodwill.
