On January 27, 2015 Megan was on her way home from work as a dispatcher at Phoenix Fire Department when she was hit by a wrong-way driver. Although I was never fortunate enough to have met Megan, Patrick and I grew up together while he lived in Massachusetts.
Megan was 26, and leaves behind her husband, Patrick and two young sons Sean, 2 and Miles, 6 months. Megans love for Patrick and her two young sons was like no other. I cannot imagine the loss their family is feeling today.
I have put together this go fund me account to raise money for Patrick, Sean and Miles to help during this difficult time. This money will help them through the upcoming weeks, with the goal of raising enough to help support Sean and Miles with their future endeavors.
As I wrote to Patrick earlier today, I sit here and struggle to find the words to say. My heart is truly broken for you, Sean, miles, Megan's family, as well as yours. I'm not quite sure why things like this happen to such good people, I have asked myself countless times today. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers during this awfully terrible time. I am sending all my love to you, stay strong and know that you have so many to lean on and the most incredible guardian angel watching over you and the boys. Miss and love you xo
