Annabelle Valentine

When Annabelle had just turned 3 in June of 2010, she sat on her swingset with her Ga-Ga (Grandma Claudia, my mom) and talked about all kinds of things and dreams. Specificly she talked about the character in one of her favorite books, Ruby Valentine. About a girl who spreads love to her village every Valentines day. Annabelle so wished she could do the same thing and expressed that to Ga-Ga, because she loved her village of Manchester. So Valentines of 2011 it began. My mom flew out and helped with baking cookies and getting gift bags of treats together for all the town. Belle passed out her items and touched so many hearts, including my own.  People embraced her and cried, some you could tell, by their reaction and comments, that they were moved beyond tears and it was exactly what they needed. We did it 2012, and the village had pizza ready for her(Franks, the best pizza ever), flowers from the local florist and toothbrush gifts from the local dentist and cards from the banks...The village lights up when they know she will be coming. 2013 I contacted the author to thank her for such a loving book. Because now Annabelle made known that her mission was bigger. She wanted to reach out to children in hospitals. Because of protocol and her age, we were not able to, but her 1st grade teacher put a bug in our ear about the Veterans Hospital, We felt it was a great idea because we love our Vets! But Annabelle still wished to help children. So we called a local Family Shelter for families without homes. We were given permission to throw a party for the kids and history was made. Oh, I got off track... the author of the book and her publisher contacted Annabelle and sent books to donate and all kinds of goodies. This year it has gotten bigger. We will be participating in Salute Week for the Veterans at the Hospital, and we will be throwing another party for the Shelter. But we have 1000's of donated valentine cards to sign for the Veterans and kids. We wanted to throw a pizza gathering for those who would help us. There is so much to do before our big WEEK...
I am coming to you in hopes you can help me and my little Annabelle Valentine, who truly believes she is sent here on earth to teach others how to love. She believes she is Valentines holiday person, like Santa is forChristmas...Easter Bunny for Easter...and Jack Skeleton for Halloween.  Last year Franks Pizza donated the pizza...but this year we would like to have the back up of cash before going to them. We still have puzzle books we wish to get the Veterans for the hospital, along with flowers for the nurse stations, and women at the shelter. We still need to get candy and supplies for the cookies we will be making along with goodie bags. I know there is more. It's more then I can afford right now and was hoping you may be able to donate a dollar to whatever... If we get more things donated to us in time this year our cost will be low and we may not use all the money. With your donation let us know if you would like a portion of it back if we do not use it all, OR we will use the rest of it for her fundraising for her friend Will and his Buddy Walk (Down Syndrome)
I appreciate you taking the time to read all of this, and I hope you can help. If you have any questions please contact me. Thank you in advance. Much love, Stephanie and Annabelle Valentine
