Jamaica Mission Trip, March 2015

Hi friends! I hope that 2015 has been full of blessings for you so far.   I have just recently felt The Lord calling me on a mission trip to Jamaica!  

The past couple of years my mission field has been Dawson County, Ga, where I have been a YoungLife Leader.  Jesus has really used YoungLife to open my eyes to what it means to meet people right where they are. 1 Thessalonians 2:8 "Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well."  This verse is exactly what my heart desires on a daily basis.  Building friendships with my high schoolers, getting to do life along beside them, and showing Jesus's love to them has truly been a blessing in my life.

I believe Jesus has been preparing my heart for this trip to Jamacia. Please join me in praying for my team I will be going with and for everyone we will come in contact with.  Pray that God would make us bold and step out in faith for Him.  Pray for new believers to be found.  Pray for joy and laughter!  

Believing that this is what The Lord wants of me, I am also believing that He will provide the means for me to get there.  With your support and His will, I know it will happen.  I need $1,150 by the second week of March.  Our plane leaves March 14th and will be back in the U.S March 22nd.  

We will be working in the churches, schools, and all throughout the community.  Leading services, doing construction, discipling youth, teaching and leading assemblies at the schools, and even putting on block parties for the community!  We will be working in the Westmoreland District.
