13 Miles for 13 Women of Importance

I have never been a runner. Quite frankly, I have never run more than 4 miles in my life. However, in 4 short months I will run 13 miles. My first half marathon.  While it will feel great to accomplish something new, I am not doing this for me. I am running 13 miles for 13 important women. 13 women who are have survived more than we dare to imagine. 13 women who have shown bravery and perserverance when life has not been fair. I am asking that you partner with me to make a difference in 13 lives. I am raising $3,120 dollars to pay for 13 women to have 4 counseling sessions through Beacon of Hope Center for Women, Inc.  Beacon of Hope provides counseling sessions for women who are experiencing hardship due to domestic violence.
