Get Millennium HS Varsity Softball!

Millennium High School is so close to having a team for our softballs players to play on, and we need your help.
The PSAL has told us that while there is no money in their budget to add another team, they would allow us to join the league if we could fund our own way. The cost of the first year is $9,854, and then goes up to $13,380 for the next two years. This leaves us with a total cost for the three year commitment for self funding at $36,614. We have raised the first year's cost! Now we need to raise the rest of the $36,614. We are responsible for the entire amount. The season starts March 1st and thanks to the donations already recieved we will be able to join the leage. We are now trying to cover the rest of our commitment with your donations hopefully from $25-$250 to collectively fund our team. We need to make sure that we are not put in a position that we are able to give the girls an amazing opportunity, only to have it taken away in the following year because we didn't finish the job. We have momentum right now and need to see this thing all the way through!
The girls at our school are currently not able to represent the school and the community the way they see their male baseball counterparts do, and all they want is that chance. We have some really great girls and are excited to see this actually happen. There has been a lot of time and effort already put in to this and we are so close to having it happen. All we need now is the money.
The money we are asking for does not cover uniforms, equipment, or anything else extra. It is the exact cost that we would have to pay to the PSAL in order to have a team. That cost we have been told covers the cost of the coach, permits, insurance, administrative costs, and any other applicable fees. The PSAL has been extremely helpful so far and wants to see this happen just as much as us. We believe that we will be able to our uniforms and equipment covered through other means later on, all we need right now, is just to actually get the team. We've got great players, a great coach, and great administration to support our teams. Let's get these girls on the field.
Any donations will be tax deductible, as the Millennium High School Parents Association is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization. If you are interested in the tax exemption, send me an email before you make the donation. I am not sure you will get the exemption if you donate through this website, but you can write a check directly to the Millennium High School Parents Association instead.
