Kristen's Mission Trip to Cuba

Hi! My name is Kristen Jimenez. I am a 21 year old, full time college student and follower of Jesus Christ. For a very long time now, I have wanted to go on a mission trip abroad and help those less fortunate than I. I have participated in many local missions before where God has not only allowed me to change the community, but He has changed ME. Finally, through my amazing church; Christ Fellowship, the opportunity I was waiting for presented itself to me. In November, I will be going to the beautiful, yet underprivileged country of Cuba for one full week. Not only will this give me the chance to spread the word of the Lord but also to help those less fortunate by working in Health Clinics, participating in Children's Ministry, Music, Creative Arts, and teaching English through an ESL program. I was born in the United States, but being of Cuban decent this trip also provides me with the opportunity to go back to my roots and see where my family came from. I am very thankful for this opportunity and excited to be exposed to a culture and life style that is very different than what I am accustomed to.
