Cancer free is the way to be

Some of you probably already know a few months ago I was diagnosed with cervical cancer, early June I had one surgery that was hopefully going to take care of everything .

Unfortunately, during that procedure (well after a few weeks of waiting on tests, my doctor had her colleagues over at University of Chicago look at my cells even though my insurance wouldn't cover it. My doctor is amazing btw!!) my doctor found out that the cancer spread well into my uterus.  August 3rd I had a radical hysterecotmy, which was very difficult for me to undergo being that we still wanted to grow our young family.

Last week, after a few weeks of being nursed by my amazing boyfried and family, I found out that I am cancer free and do not need radiation!!

That being said, financially this has been very hard on my family since currantly I am the main support system and I have spent between both surgeries over a month out of work this summer. With bills piling up it has been hard to sit back and relax to recover. Anything you can give is a huge help to our family, as I am slowly getting back to regular life. Thank you to everyone that has already helped us out so much.
