Zane's hand surgery

Hey! I’m Zane and I’m in an interesting situation now.
Where to start? I’m an active student, who works in Paralympic committee and in my free time I help people with some kind of physical improvement. My mom is a wheelchair user and I also help her. In my spare time I like to hang out with my friends, help others, read, climb, cycle, run, do some things in radio, knit and play guitar. Unfortunately, most of these active things I can’t do because of the recent accident I had.
On June, Friday 13th, 2014, I had a bad accident and I cut all of my left-arm’s fingers. They rushed me to the hospital and tried to save everything they could, but the doctor did a terrible mistake. When sewing the fingers, he didn’t notice, that the tendon flexor was also cut in half so after the surgery I lost the movement of my pinky.
The little finger – pinky – has lost its movement – I can still feel it, but I can’t bend it and it hurts even to do the simplest moves. There is a chance, however. To improve or fully restore the movement of my little pinky, I need to make a surgery, but it costs too much and I can’t really afford it. Plus, there are plenty of check-up’s I need to make before that and some recovery after the surgery. The average amount of money I need both for the surgery and the recovery process is 600 EUR, which is about 681$.
My family isn’t wealthy and my job isn’t that well paid to afford the surgery, but it is important to make the surgery as soon as possible, because it might be too late and the tendon flexor is shrinking with every day.
I usually don’t ask the help of people, thinking, that I don’t really have anything to offer, but there is something I thought of. As I love to knit, after my surgery, I will knit beautiful pair of mittens to everyone, who donated more than 30 $ dollars (26.39 EUR) and ship wherever you’d like them to be shipped. :)
