I am 36 years old and I live with my Lovely Wife Katarzyna and Daughter in Poland. For many years I had a clear plan for my professional career and I wanted to be a pilot of a passenger plane. Shortly after high school I went to the USA where, after settling down, learning English and acquiring some funds, I began training course to obtain a basic PPL pilot licence Unfortunately, just after 2 months of theoretical training, I got oral cancer with metastases to tongue and lymph nodes. I had to stop training, my stay in the US and return to Poland for very long and radical treatment and rehabilitation. It lasted more than 4 years. After that I stayed in Poland, started my university studies, than graduated and got married. I also took up my professional work at the position of a Logistics specialist.
Unfortunately until this day I have not returned to flying ... Mainly due to lack of funds ...
A few days ago I decided to start again! I realized it is never too late to pursue your dreams. I want to collect the required funds and return to flying training in full version, up to the ATPL license along with the required number of flying hours in single and multi-engined air crafts. The costs are enormous, but I believe that thanks to you - Persons with Big Hearts, I can achieve my goal. I also need funds to cover my costs of living during the training (up to 3 years) and to cover all related charges. Unfortunately it is a lot.
Details:
~ 100 000 USD - pilot training from O to ATPL
~ 100 000 USD - cost of living for 3 years during the pilot school
~ 80 000 USD - taxes and fees
- ??? cost of living during the current medical treatment (jaw replecment)
Time of all collection: 31.12.2018.
If funds are not enough collected, I will donate to charity or use for my medical/rehabilitation expenses.
