Cocktails will NOT begin at 6 o'clock.
Dinner will NOT be served at 7 o'clock.
There  will be NO program at 8 o'clock.
NO auction announcements will be made.
NO band, NO dancing, NO karaoke
Attire is whatever you want, pajamas included

We are not kidding!

Our take is this...everyone is already so busy. Who couldn't enjoy a relaxing evening with the family at home? Why not save the money you would have spent on a new fancy dress or suit and tickets to an event and donate those funds to help support your friend Carolyn?
for this reason, we ask that you NOT join us. It's a no show event!

On February 28, 2014, Carolyn was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and admitted for 30 days of chemotherapy treatment and recovery. From April to August 2014, Carolyn received six more hospital admissions for continuous 4-5 days of chemotherapy, IV and intrathecal spinal infusion.  During chemo recovery phases, Carolyn made biweekly  visits to the oncology outpatient clinic for lab work and many times required blood and platelet transfusions. Due to this regimen, Carolyn  was not allowed to work. Carolyn received a total of five bone marrow biopsies to date. She has been negative for leukemia in her bone marrow since her third biopsy. Due to not going into immediate remission after chemotherapy a bone marrow transplant was required for a cure. Admitted September 5 for bone marrow  transplant, Carolyn received two days of intensive chemotherapy and three days a full body radiation. On September 11 Carolyn underwent the bone marrow transplant which required two more days of chemo post transplant and was admitted for 28 more days. Post bone marrow transplant, Carolyn has biweekly visits to the transplant clinic for blood work, medicine adjustments, monitoring and infusions as needed. Caroline has been admitted to the hospital twice since the transplant but has been doing well since the middle of November. As of mid December Carolyn's bone marrow is 100% donor (her brother), but she continues to be monitored closely to asyreno signs of rejection. Carolyn will be on anti-rejection drugs for one year minimum and then will be followed closely for several years to come to assure no reoccurrence of cancer.  At this time, Caroline is unsure when she will be cleared to return to work
