I'm embarking on a journey to Haiti this spring to volunteer with two fabulous organizations. I've chosen to volunteer with MamaBaby Haiti and Naturopaths Without Borders.
Purpose: To provide Naturopathic healthcare to impoverished communities, while empowering those communities through education, supporting growth and cultivating sustainable resources.
Participants: Naturopathic Medical students from Bastyr University
Plan: I'll be spending two weeks with Naturopaths Without Borders and MamaBaby Haiti at Clinique Medicale Morne Rouge in Northern Haiti between March 20th and April 5th, 2015! I'll help to provide Naturopathic medical care, community health education classes, and take part in training for traditional birth attendants, and sustainable gardening projects.

Airfare: $700
Volunteer Cost: $700 per week ($1400 total)
Medication/ Surgical Equiptment/ Supplement Costs: $400
Donate Travel Funds "“ This trip is currently funded 100% by the volunteers themselves
Donate local goods and/or services to further fundraising efforts, including a silent auction to be held this March.
Raise awareness within your local communities regarding this project and the role of naturopathic medicine within a global context.
